Kim Stanley Robinson


Kim Stanley Robinson is a New York Times best-selling novelist who has won 11 major science fiction awards, including the Hugo and the Nebula. In 2008, Time named him as one of the “Heroes of the Environment” and The New Yorker recently profiled him as one of the greatest living political writers. According to The New York Times, “there is no finer writer of science fiction today than Kim Stanley Robinson.” His novels have been translated into 23 languages. His most recent book Shaman explores the political and cultural dynamics of society during the Ice Age, before the invention of writing.
