Anne Strainchamps expressed surprise that someone might receive therapy from a philosopher. As a licensed therapist I can tell you that most of what we do is based in philosophy. A therapist is a trip guide in a person's trip through life. Most of us are required to study philosophy to become therapists.

This is not a new concept.
